There are absolutely no refunds on tickets purchased.

GUESTS:

Hinsdale South seniors may bring one guest to the prom. The guest must be one of the following:

  1. Current 9th, 10th, or 11th grade student at Hinsdale South.
  1. Current high school student at another school.
    • This guest form is required, must be completed, and turned into the Dean’s Office.

  2. An adult who is 20 years of age or under.
    • This guest form is required, must be completed, and turned into the Dean’s Office.

All guest forms must be submitted by Friday, March 27th. If and when your guest is approved, they will be added to your 5-Star prom ticket for purchase. If you are bringing a guest, do not purchase your ticket online until you receive a confirmation email from Mr. Chavarria. Otherwise, it will take longer, and we cannot guarantee your guest, and you will be on the same bus or at the same table.

You can print the form or pick it up from the dean's office.

ASSIGNED TABLES & BUSES:

For travel to and from prom and during dinner service, you will be assigned a bus and table. The easiest and quickest way to ensure you are on the same bus and at the same table as your friends is to purchase online together, using the 5-Star website. There, you can select your table and bus, as well as see who is on each bus and what tables have already been selected.

COST:
Prom Ticket: $195

Post Prom Ticket: $25 (Each year, over 80% of students attend post prom.)

DISCOUNTED TICKET:

If you have a discounted ticket due to fundraising, please watch for a separate email explaining the ticket purchasing process. You will need to come in person to pay for a discounted ticket, and that email will come from Ms. Carpenter later this week. Look for it!

POST PROM:

Post prom is being held on the Spirit of Chicago cruise boat, launched from Navy Pier. This experience is an additional time to dance, eat, and party it up! There is dancing, a cruise along the Chicago skyline, and food provided.

Please note you CANNOT change your mind after you purchase. If you do not purchase a post-prom ticket, it cannot be added later. Also, if you purchase a post-prom ticket, you are not permitted to change your mind and return to school. We will not have bus seats available.

STUDENT BEHAVIOR:

Board Policy 7:190 Student Behavior governs student conduct. Seniors who commit major offenses or have unserved detentions may be excluded from senior activities such as prom, senior send-off, and graduation.

ARRIVAL, CHECK IN, & EVENT:

We will review with you at a senior class meeting, in addition to email instructions, on how to check in, where to arrive, etc., closer to the event. Arrival time will begin at 5:00 pm at Hinsdale South. Buses will depart promptly at 6:00 pm. You should not arrive any later than 5:45 pm.

Let us know if you have any questions. We cannot wait for this night to help you celebrate and enjoy this milestone of your high school experience.
