The Business Excellence Award is available for applicants who intend to enroll in a four year college in the fall of 2015 and pursue a major in the field of business. The scholarship will be a $750 award given to one student to be put towards educational expenses. An essay is required to apply for the scholarship. Two $1,000 awards will be provided to graduating seniors from a Wheaton Drama area high school entering a post-secondary institution in the subsequent academic year. The organization, Friends of Moraine Hills State Park is offering $1000 scholarships to two 2015 high school graduates entering the field of environmental studies. The Christopher Massimilian Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a student who will continue on with baseball in college, who was involved in sports during high school and has excelled academically. The organization is in the process of putting together two annual community service scholarships of $500 each to students who will be enrolled in a degree program and have participated in some form of verifiable community service with a non-profit organization. The DuPage County Farm Bureau is awarding up to four high school seniors who will be starting college in the fall of 2015 with $1,000 scholarships. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must demonstrate that they are qualified to pursue a college education and interested in a course of study related to the agriculture industry. In addition, their parents must be members in good standing of the DuPage County Farm Bureau for at least two years as of January 1 of the application year. This scholarship was created in memory of Arnold Oestmann of Westmont, IL, past president of the DuPage County Farm Bureau. Each year the Board of Trustees may award one scholarship to a high school senior whose parents have been members in good standing of the DuPage County Farm Bureau for two years as of the January 1st of the application year.
