The Educational Services Department provides the continuum of educational support services to students with disabilities as defined by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and the Illinois 23 Administrative Code. Programs are developed to meet the unique individual needs of students. These include direct educational supports and instruction through consultation and collaboration with general education, services to identified students with behavioral challenges through the Personal Adjustment Program, and a range of options for students with cognitive/multiple needs through the Foundations Program. Additional supports available for students as determined appropriate include Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech/Language Therapy and Psychological and Social Work Services. The LaGrange Area Department of Special Education (L.A.D.S.E.) works cooperatively with the Educational Services Department.
