*      Attention all students:  Please make sure that all books, personal belongings and items are cleaned out of your locker TODAY by 3:00 pm.  ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS!  Once again, your locker must be totally empty!  Thanks and have a great summer.

 

*      Have you still not cleanced out your locker?!  Well, get on it and donate your reusables to kids in New Orleans.  Boxes are located near most department offices.  Thanks and have a terrific summer!

 

*      Attention all students:  The Bookstore will be buying back textbooks in the Auditorium foyer today.  Please understand that some books may not be bought back due to changes in next year’s schedule.  ALL WAIVER AND DELAYED PAYMENT STUDENTS MUST RETURN BOOKS TO THE BOOKSTORE TO RECEIVE CREDIT.  To recap:  Textbooks can be sold back in the Auditorium foyer today.  Waiver and delayed payment students must return their books to the Bookstore, not the Auditorium foyer.

 

*      There will be a one hour, mandatory meeting for all of the Summer 2008 Learn to Swim instructors today in the pool at 12:15 pm.  If you cannot attend, you must see Mr. Kuchta or you will forfeit your summer job.

*      Attention all boys’ volleyball players and anyone interested in learning the game:  Summer camp for boys’ volleyball will be from June 16th-27th.  Be sure to sign up by the end of the month to avoid late fees.  See Mr. Rasavongxay in the Social Studies Department or Ms. Manning in the Art Department if you have any questions.

 

*      If you are an athlete in good standing and participated in three sports this year, come to the Athletic Office (room 268) to receive either a patch or a pin.

*      Applications for Hornet Habits are available in the Student Center.  Students interested in participating in Hornet Habits must be a junior or senior next fall and have the desire to be leaders in the Hinsdale South character education program.  Current members do not need to fill out another application.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Bitto.

 

*      Cleaning out your locker?  Donate your reusables to kids in New Orleans who need school supplies.  Books, binders, spiral notebooks, markers, pens and the like are being collected in boxes near department offices throughout next week.  Thanks for sharing with those in need.
