Vision and Mission Committee Meeting – 11/1/07

I. Introductions/07-08 Members
Staff Members:
Gail Kelly, Dorothy Morris, Arwen Pokorny, Shannon Verschoore, Katheryn Vukson, Janet Roller-Schmidt, Kerin Sancken, Nate Wolkow, Candy Butler, Lisa Elo, Matt Gawlik, Cherie Kerzee-Stames, Rick Townsend, Michael Holland, and Yvonne Mullins.

Committee members were asked to recommend names of students and parents that we could invite to join our committee. Mike Holland will also poll his colleagues in the Guidance Department for recommendations. Mike will contact the potential new members.

II. Vision and Mission Definition

We discussed the purpose of the Vision and Mission committee.

III. Common Meeting Time

It was agreed that the committee would meet every other week during 6^th period. (1^st and 3^rd Thursday of the month) We also discussed the possibility of ending our committee work for the 07-08 school year in March, 2008.

IV. 07-08 Topic Suggestions

We have not committed to a focus for this year. Before we do, we are going to review the work that was done in this committee last year.
