Hinsdale South Community -

Dear Hornet Nation

Welcome to the 2014-15 school year.  Back to school is such an exciting time of renewal: new school supplies, new sports and activities competitions, new classmates, and new teachers.  We have an outstanding cohort of talented and enthusiastic teachers new to Hinsdale South.

We also welcome our new students, both freshmen and transfer students, to all that is the Hornet Nation.  This year’s theme in the athletic department is: “Own It!”  We own how we conduct ourselves and interact with others, we own our learning, and we own the passion that we bring to our activities and athletics.  Our staff and students foster Accountability, Respect, and Engagement throughout the school, helping us all “own” the culture that is the Hornet Nation. Welcome back.  May we all have the best year yet!
