The health office is open from 7:30-3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 7:30-3:10 p.m. on Fridays.
Students are not seen during passing periods. They must report to their classroom for a pass before coming to the health office unless an emergency situation exists. If a student needs to contact a parent regarding a health care issue, they should report directly to the health office. Students leaving school because of illness or injuries must check out through the health office or they will receive an unexcused absence.
Students must adhere to the school policy regarding the use of cell phones. Students will not be sent home unless a parent/guardian or parent designee has been contacted. Parent/guardian is responsible for arranging transportation for their child.
We ask that parents keep sick children at home. Any child with a fever of 100 or greater should be kept home until they are fever free without the use of fever reducing medication for 24 hours. The health office follows the guidelines from the Illinois Department of Public Health regarding communicable diseases.
