Curriculum:
•Coordinate and monitor the Curriculum Development & Renewal process
•Coordinate and monitor the development and implementation of innovative programs (School Improvement Planning, District Improvement Planning, Response to Intervention, Transfer Student Mentoring Program, Grading Cadre, Assessment Software)
•Coordinate the AP and Honors program
•Monitor the Excel program
•Monitor the Transitional Program of Instruction (TPI)
•Revise the Program of Studies and facilitate the new course proposal process

Instruction:
•Design a master schedule that maximizes student learning
•Oversee the Instructional Improvement Program, conduct classroom observations, and monitor Professional Growth Plans for tenured teachers
•Coordinate substitute teachers
•Facilitate the annual student survey process
•Coordinate Supplemental Educational Services (SES tutoring) as mandated by NCLB

Assessment:
•Generate all relevant information on student achievement for use in data-driven decision making
•Serve as site-supervisor the Prairie State Achievement Exam (PSAE)
•Coordinate the progress report and report card process
•Ensure compliance with Title I and NCLB regulations

Professional Development:
•Provide high-quality professional development opportunities for certified staff
•Coordinate the District 86 Four-Year Comprehensive New Teacher Induction Program for Hinsdale South
•Coordinate the placement of student teachers and clinical observation students
•Work with the leadership team to plan institute day activities
